Autumn Clothing Haul For Toddler

About a month ago I was cruising the H&M website on my lunch break and decided to check out their Fall toddler clothing. I have bought Isla tons of stuff at H&M. Their clothes fit her really well and they are affordable, but also great quality. They always seem to last and I box them up for the next Baby P instead of throwing them out (this is not an announcement, I just like to plan ahead).

Their Autumn stuff is so cute! I wanted to buy all of it but I’m pretty realistic with the way that Isla is growing these days. Instead I chose a few pieces that can be mixed and matched and can supplement her wardrobe that she already has.

I love that they have a Conscious line of clothing. Since having Isla I’ve been making a few changes to go green. We got these enormous green recycling bins and every two weeks we have been filling it up. I was amazed at how much stuff is able to be recycled. We’ve also switched to some green cleaning products and all the light bulbs in our house are LEDs. We try to conserve energy with a lighting/ air conditioner schedule that knows when we aren’t home. I don’t typically use straws but I bought a pack of silicon straws for Isla to use an she loves them. These are all changes that are easy and don’t take much time to implement.

I didn’t buy everything from the conscious line but I love that they have tons of options. You can read more about their reason behind creating the Conscious line here.

Just for a reference, Isla is 34.5 inches tall and weighs 30 lbs. She wears the 1 1/2-2 yr old size at H&M. I recommend looking at the shoe sizing chart to decide what size shoe to get.

Here is everything I got her:

Denim Jacket

This denim jacket. Oh my goodness. She looks adorable in this! I wish she were able to model for photos but she turns two next month and isn’t really into standing still these days, let alone posing/ smiling for a photo. I chose this jacket in a darker color because I’ve learned that light denim and toddlers don’t mix. She loves this jacket and I can’t wait for it to cool off here in Oklahoma so she wear it.

Also pictured above: This dress. I love stripes, especially for fall. This dress is so sweet and Isla was so excited to try it on. She loves to twirl and getting dressed up for church is her favorite. I can’t wait to pair it with her jean jacket and some tights.

These shoes. Isla calls them her sparkle shoes. These have a very sturdy feel to them and are going to be great this fall. I love the dusty pink color and the fact that the laces are elastic. I couldn’t really tell from the online photo. She has worn them a few times and really seems to like them. She is pretty picky about footwear and will tell me right away when something is the slightest bit uncomfortable. I’ve had to donate several brand new pairs in the past. Luckily these have made the cut and she loves them!

These pants. I bought them in pink, black and yellow. Isla is tall for her age and relatively skinny so finding pants that are long enough can be a challenge. These pants are perfect. She will have a little bit of length to grow into, so I expect them to last through the fall/ winter months. These pants are thicker feeling than most of the toddler pants I find elsewhere. Meaning, they will keep her warm but also they won’t break down in the wash and can take a knee scrape or two.

Also pictured above: This heart sweater. I love navy for fall, and she loved the little hearts. They are sparkly and it’s a light enough knit that it’ll be perfect under a jacket or by itself on warmer fall days.

Also pictured above: This other heart sweater. I love the colors and they will work perfectly with the pink or yellow pants. I love pieces that can be mixed and matched. Makes it easy when Evan has to pick out her clothes for the day since he gets her ready for daycare every morning.

Toddler Clothing

This 5 pack of long sleeve t-shirts from the H&M Conscious line. These shirts are so soft and I love that some are solid and some are patterned. These will be great for layering under a sweater or jacket or by themselves because our girl is pretty hot natured. They are 95% organic cotton and I know they will be breathable.

Toddler Clothing

I plan to try more items from the Conscious line and I encourage you to give it a try or think or ways your family can go green. This is the first type of clothing haul post that I’ve done so let me know if you would like to see more. I always plan to buy stuff for me but buying for Isla is so much fun. Tiny clothes are the cutest.

What item was your favorite? Have you tried H&M for kid’s clothes? I’d love to hear from you.

XO, P
