Men’s Holiday Gift Guide

I’m back again, at Payton’s request, for all you last-minute shoppers who have waited until being 15 (or less) days away from Christmas to start buying gifts for the men in your life. Hopefully, this last-minute men’s holiday gift guide will help you in your time of gift-giving need!

This year, I’ve broken this list up into 4 major categories and each category has an affordable option for those who have been nice, and a higher-end option for those who have been extra nice this year. If you want to see my list of stocking stuffers click here.

For the Techie Guy

          The Nice:

      • The Echo Auto makes an awesome addition to your car if you are already a family that uses the Amazon Echo devices in your home. Besides asking Alexa what the weather conditions are, adding to a shopping list, or hearing a funny joke, you can also use the Echo Auto to make sure you locked the deadbolt or turned off all the smart lights in your house while backing out of your driveway. The Amazon Alexa ecosystem works with just about every smart device out there, and with this device coming in at a mere $34.99US, this one is a no brainer!

          The Extra-Nice:

      • Drones are more and more popular because they keep getting easier and easier to fly. DJI is one of the best-known names in the consumer drone industry and they have just released the all-new DJI Mavic Mini. This drone folds up into the palm of your hand so it can store in practically any bag. It shoots Quad HD video, has proximity sensors built in so it’s much harder to crash, gives you 30-minutes of flight time per battery, and includes propeller guards! To top it off, the Mavic Mini is so light that it doesn’t have to be registered with the government in the US or Canada like most other drones do! It’s an amazing drone for $399!
      • Here is a Youtube video so you can see how it works!

For the Coffee Guy

          The Nice:

      • It’s hard to beat a freshly ground cup of Guatemalan single-source medium roast coffee. Or at least, that’s what I tell Payton all the time. Regardless, a Chemex pour-over coffeemaker is one of the best things in our kitchen. This coffeemaker looks great and allows you to make some amazing coffee! Since you use a kettle to pour hot water over the grounds, it tends to strip more of the oils out of the beans so that the overall flavor is better in the cup. Once you try it, I’m sure you’ll be hooked like we are! It comes in at $43 and is well worth the investment.

          The Extra-Nice:

      • Maybe regular coffee isn’t your guy’s thing. Maybe he prefers espresso, or a nice iced coffee. For the guy who likes a variety of coffee styles, check out the Breville Vertuo Coffee and Espresso Machine. It uses Nespresso pods that come in a huge variety. It also allows for multiple serving sizes depending on your mug size, from 1.35oz espressos, all the way up to 14oz travel mugs! Skip the line at Starbucks with this one for $175US. (normally $250US)

For the Grooming Guy

          The Nice:

      • Is your favorite guy still using the same body wash he used in high school? Tired of him smelling like he just showered with soap that smells like cheap body spray? Well, this set of “Big American Bricks of Soap” from Duke Cannon will help take care of that problem. All four of these manly scents are non-headache-inducing and come in a bar that’s 3 times larger than a standard bar of soap. Even better yet, a portion of the proceeds go toward supporting U.S. Veterans, and these products aren’t tested on animals either! For $35US, it’s a solid bet that your guy will love it!

The Extra-Nice:

        • I personally love using a double-edge safety razor and an old-school brush and bowl to shave with. Over the years, Payton has gifted me new razors and brushes and I always get a ton of use out of them. This Myozaki Barber Set will give your guy every tool he needs to jump into the world of personal grooming. Among other things, it includes a straight razor, a double-edge safety razor, a set of clippers, a brush and soap bowl, and a beard comb. As far as complete sets go for men’s grooming, this one takes the cake at $178US.

The Outdoors Guy

          The Nice:

      • Maybe your fella likes to hike in the woods. Perhaps he prefers to go camping by the lake. If he’s like me, he likes to sit on the back porch and enjoy a cigar or nice pipe on a cool autumn day. Whatever the case may be, all those things are made exponentially better with the addition of a collapsible nylon parachute hammock from Pro Venture. This hammock is great for the back yard or the mountainside, whichever your guy prefers. It has a 400lb weight limit and will fit up to two people since it’s 6 feet wide. It also has a 2-year warranty, comes in 5 colors, and folds up into a its own little pouch for travel purposes. This hammock comes in at $25 and he’ll love it!

          The Extra-Nice:

      • If your guy likes to tailgate before football games, enjoys going on 2-day fishing trips on the weekend, or wants to keep 20+ cans cold for 48 hours on a road trip, the YETI Hopper Back flip is right up his alley. This backpack cooler is waterproof, and the zipper is leak-proof. This cooler is $299 and should last for many years into the future.

This list was aimed to as many general types of guy out there. I would gladly take anything off this list for myself. I hope this list helps you narrow down your search! Merry Christmas!
