I was so torn between going all out on Isla’s stocking and not doing anything for it because she is too little to really understand. However, my need to be the most awesome Santa ever won out and here are the things going in her stocking this year!
I am obsessed with everything nutcracker/ ballerina décor at Christmas time. I love it so much. It reminds me of when we would go see the nutcracker when I was little. I can’t wait until Isla Rose is old enough to enjoy the ballet. It is magical. I introduced her to the one on Netflix and she didn’t seem that impressed. Sigh.
Let’s get on with the gifts –
I got Isla a ballerina stocking from Pottery Barn kids. They were having a sale on all their Christmas stuff and I snagged it for $17 and the personalization was $9. It’s very good quality and the detail is so beautiful. I’m going to wrap it in some tissue paper for storage so her tulle skirt doesn’t get snagged on anything. It looks like they are currently out of the ballerina but they had a ton of these stockings with all kinds of designs. Their stockings are still on sale too! I love their homemade look.
In my holiday gift guide for toddlers I told you about this ballerina pillow from target! Well she is going to be peeping out the top of Isla’s stocking! Ballerina everything, ya’ll!
Isla loves rubber duckies and she already has several. She calls them quack quacks. This is the one we got her last year that does all kinds of cool stuff. It is connected to an app on your phone so that you can check water temperature and play games.
Also, I found some adorable Christmas themed rubber duckies from target in the stocking stuffer section and they are all decked out in winter gear so I thought they would be perfect for her stocking. They came in a pack of 2. I couldn’t find a link for them but they had a ton of them at our local store, so go check yours out if you’re interested!
She is also getting some socks because I’m pretty sure someone is breaking into our house and only stealing baby socks. I’m not really sure where they all go. Maybe they are with all my lost bobby pins. It’s never to early to appreciate socks at Christmas time. 🙂
Her little bath crayons I got her in the toddler gift guide are also going into the stocking. She loves spending time in the tub, and these will make it that much more fun for her!
These little bunny slippers are too cute. I can’t wait to see them on her little feet with her Christmas jammies. I found them at target and they are soooo soft.
After adding all of that her stocking is pretty full. The doll takes up quite a bit of room. I may add some little snacks but I haven’t decided yet. Let me know what stocking stuffer ideas you have for a 1 year old! I’d love to hear your ideas!
My whole family has been sick this weekend. Isla had a tummy bug and I…
